Menace in the Middle's Map

Rules

  • Team Match
  • Time Limit: 5:00
  • All Characters start at Lv1.
  • When a player is defeated, they will respawn at their Base after 10 seconds. Player points are not deducted for dying.
    • If the player is defeated by another player, they will respawn with their level increased by 5, type level increased by 1.
    • If the player is defeated by a creature or a map obstacle, they will respawn at their current level and type level.
  • There are multiple Energy Poles present on the map.
    • Pressing Circle with the Energy Pole highlighted will initiate capturing.
    • It takes 8 seconds to capture an Energy Pole.
    • Moving out of the glowing circle around the Energy Pole will cancel and reset the capturing process.
    • Getting hit with an attack will not cancel the process, unless the player is knocked out of the glowing circle.
    • Another player on the opposing team is able to initiate capturing while a player is capturing. Doing so will cancel the current capturing process, and start a capturing process for the intruding player.

  • Four small Energy Poles spawns at 3:00 left. If any Jarba is still left, they will automatically die, and no points will be allocated for them.
  • Containers spawn at 2:30 left, behind the walls. They drop healing items. These items are individually instanced, and cannot be seen or interacted with by other players.
  • Four Lv35 Svaltuses will spawn at 2:00 left.
    • It's possible for creatures to drop items. These items are individually instanced, and cannot be seen or interacted with by other players.
  • Points gained doubles at 1:00 left.

Points

  • Point gains double during the last minute of the mission
  • Capture Energy Pole (neutral or enemy): +500 points
  • Capture Large Energy Pole (neutral or enemy): +1000 points
  • Defeat Jarba: +1000 points
  • Defeat Svaltus: +5000 points
  • Defeat enemy players: + approx. 350 points
  • Lose friendly Energy Pole: -500 points
  • Lose friendly Energy Pole: -1000 points
