Story missions

Story Missions encompasses the story of Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. The story is divided into 2 parts: Episode 1, and Episode 2.

Initally, players can only access the story missions in order. Clearing these missions allows the player to progress through the story, and unlock more content related to story progress. Once an ending is reached, the player can access the story mission in any order (with the exception of the Ep1 Chapter 10 missions), as well as Hard Mode Story missions.

Note that, to reach Hard Mode Clear, all Hard Mode Story missions must be cleared, not just the final chapters.

Story Mission Dialogue Choices

Episode 1

Your ending after Chapter 10 Act 3 depends on your amount of 'story points' (invisible); this increases/decreases every time you select a good/bad dialogue option in the story missions (even if you've already done the mission before or if you select abandon mission), and increases each time you clear a story mission. How well you do at story missions (both mission ranks and failures) will affect your point gained as well. It's possible to get all endings on a single character. The good dialogue options are as follows. Note that it is possible to skip straight to the next dialogue option by holding the start button.

Chapter 1 - Act 1

• Upper option: Talk to the girl. (少女に声をかける)
• Bottom option: The nerve! (たしかにひどい)
• Upper option: You some kind of expert or something? (詳しいね)
• Upper option: Actually, I do believe you. (信じる)
• Upper option: We can handle this. (大丈夫)

Chapter 2 - Act 1

• Bottom option: Leave it to me. (任せて)
• Upper option: Let's just finish this mission. (依頼を成功させよう)
• Upper option: Sounds good. (わかった)
• Upper option: Not a word. (全然わからない)
• Bottom option: I'm more worried about the village. (村が気になる)

Chapter 2 - Act 2

• Bottom option: Help Emilia (を助け起こす)

Chapter 3 - Act 1

• Upper option: I don't think so. (そんなことはない)
• Upper option: Absolutely. (その通りだ)
• Upper option: Fine. (わかった)

Chapter 3 - Act 2

• Upper option: Kraz won't be happy. (に怒られる)
• Upper option: Real groovy. (よくがんばったと思う)

Chapter 4 - Act 1

• Upper option: We're there. (行きます)
• Choose to go either left or right
• Bottom option: Pitch darkness. (まっくらだった)
• Upper option: Just now, you were like Yut's big sister. (のお姉さんみたい)

Chapter 4 - Act 2

• Upper option: Calm down, you two. (二人とも落ち着いて)
• Upper option: You can't do it alone! (一人では無理だ)

Chapter 5 - Act 1

• Bottom option: We don't need any help. (結構です)
• Upper option: Someone very special. (すごい子だよ)
• Upper option: You might be on to something. (そうかもしれない)

Chapter 5 - Act 2

• Bottom option: More of a nightmare, really. (きっとこれは夢だ)
• Bottom option: I can't do it alone. (一人では無理だ)

Chapter 6 - Act 1

Chapter 6 - Act 2

• Upper option: You need to shape up, Lumia. (をたしなめる)
• Upper option: Emilia's right. (の言う通りだ)

Chapter 7 - Act 1

• Upper option: Don't mention it. (どういたしまして)
• Upper option: Yut knows what he's doing. (を信じる)
• Bottom option: What's the bigger problem? (気になること？)
• Bottom option: Which way is she? (道はわかるのか？)

Chapter 7 - Act 2

• Upper option: I heard her too. (たしかに聞こえた)
• Upper option: Call for Emilia. (大声でを呼ぶ)
• Upper option: Emilia! (！)
• Upper option: We came to help you. (助けに来た)
• You're not alone. (はひとりじゃない)

Chapter 8 - Act 1

• Upper option: Yep. (わかる)
• Upper option: Weren't you too hard on him? (言いすぎじゃない？)
• Upper option: You okay?! (大丈夫！？)
• Upper option: You are stronger, Yut. (強くなったな、)

Chapter 8 - Act 2

• Upper option: Don't give up. (諦めるな)

Chapter 9 - Act 1

• Bottom option: I blame leadership. (指導が足りませんでした)
• Upper option: Now that's a load of nonsense. (何をな)

Chapter 10 - Act 1

• Power enough to save the system! (このを救う力を！)

Chapter 10 - Act 2

• Protect Emilia (をかばう)
• I won't let you down. (任せてくれ！)
