Max Attack ∞ III, commonly shortened to MAI3, is the third of the Max Attack ∞ series, event missions that were previously featured in Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. It features many unique items as clear rewards, and is a good mission for finding Rappy Machinas.
Clear rank in this mission is determined by the amount of player incapacitations, shared amongst the party. Scape Dolls cannot be used, nor can the party return to Clad 6 at any point during the mission. If defeated, the player will respawn at a point shortly before their current location.
There are two versions of Max Attack ∞ III, the regular version and the Gurhal Boost Road version. The regular version features and difficulties, while the Gurhal Boost Road version features and difficulties, along with higher rates.
Regular Version | Gurhal Boost Road | |
---|---|---|
Exp. Rate | 150% | 200% |
Type Pts. | 150% | 200% |
Drop Rate | 150% | 300% |
Creature HP | 100% | 50%[1] |
Tickets | Normal | +1 |
- ↑ Boss HP is unaffected
The Gurhal Boost Road version could only be played in internet-multi mode during official service, however it can be played in multi mode using the spoof online-multi code from our modifications page.
Clad 0
After clearing the final room before Volna Grafka, Clad 0 may be randomly invaded. The screen will flash red and an extra teleporter will be opened.
In Max Attack ∞ III, Clad 0 features 2 Force Mothers for the party to fight, and 6 clear boxes. The mission is not over at this point, and the party may return to the Inhelt laboratory to face Volna Grafka.
Rapico
Rapico may randomly appear in 1 of 4 locations in the mission. If interacted with, Rapico will grant the player 1 R. Lucky Feather for use in the Rapico's Outlet trade mission.
- Sector 1: At the first junction, turn left.
- Sector 2: Beyond the boss teleporter, if Rapico has spawned, the wall can be passed through.
