Scorched Valley is a SEED-purification urgent mission that may randomly appear after clearing an open mission on Moatoob. It features a 300% drop modifier, a lot of creatures, and some set spawns of rare creatures.

There are two separate routes in Scorched Valley, route A and route B. Route A is on the right-hand side at the start of the mission, and route B is on the left-hand side at the start of the mission. Only one route may be opened, although both end with the same final sector. Route A features set SEED-Lab Staff spawns, whereas route B features set Bil De Melan spawns.

As with all urgent missions, they must be played immediately when unlocked, or the urgent mission will disappear after disbanding the party or playing any other mission.

SEED-purification[edit | edit source]

Scorched Valley features various Zohma, egg-like SEED cores which cause many parts of the ground across the mission to be covered in damaging lava. These Zohma can be removed by the player using the Photon Eraser, which can be obtained from the console at the start of the mission, and then assigned to the action palette to equip it.

Zohma may award the player with a Photon Sphere or Photon Crystal upon being destroyed, and will also remove the surrounding damaging lava. Zohma destruction amount does not contribute towards the clear rank of the mission, so can be safely ignored if the party wishes to do so.
