Certain shield-weaves grant a set effect if equipped with certain [[weapons]]. A set effect is applied to a player's total stats after all other stat modifiers are taken into account, and only apply while the action palette has the appropriate shield-weave and weapon(s) active - being on the [[action palette]] is not enough to trigger the bonuses.
