Each race has specific blast types which are made available from LV10. During a battle, Blast can be utilized after filling the blast gauge at the bottom left of the screen, and pressing a combination of Square + Triangle while idle. When used, all Status Effects on the player (except Shifta and Deband) will be removed.

The player will not be able to use Blasts in certain areas, primarily those force the camera to non-standard angles. The player also cannot use Blasts while standing on top of a Teleporter.

Blast Gauge
The Blast Gauge increases as the player deals damage and takes damage. Once it's fully charged, the player is able to utilize their Blast.

The rate the Blast Gauge increases at can be enhanced via Wild Blast.

Mirage Blasts are special abilities exclusive to humans and newmans which were developed using technology from the ancient civilization. These abilities summon mythical elemental creatures to unleash powerful attacks on enemies or support allies. Mirage blasts are equipped as modules for shield-weaves, and can be equipped between different shield-weaves in battle to swap between different equipped mirage blasts.

Each Mirage Blast has an element attached, and deals more damage against enemies of the opposite element, while dealing less damage against enemies of the same element. The higher the rank of the Mirage Blast, the higher its element.

The damage dealt by Mirage Blast is based on user's base TEC and the grade of the mirage blast module.

While using Mirage Blasts, the user will be invincible until they regain control of their character again.

<p style="color:red">Usable only by Newmans</p>

A light attribute creature that causes PP consumption to become 0 for the user for 30 seconds. It also increases damage caused by Blasts from all party members (including the user) by around 20%, for 30 seconds. A dark attribute creature that makes the user's attack animation faster for 1 minute 30 seconds. Note that for Ranged weapons, the shooting animation speed is increased, but flying speed of the bullets isn't. For TECHNICs, the attack speed is increased, but the casting animation (i.e. the initial part of the cast where magic spins around the tip of the weapon) isn't. The creature itself does not do damage.

Similar to Mirage Blasts, SUV weapons are equipped by attaching specific modules to shield-weaves, and shield-weaves can be swapped in battle to swap between different equipped SUV weapons.

The damage dealt by SUV weapons count as Ranged type, but is calculated based on user's base ATK and the grade of the SUV module.

Nanoblast

Beasts require a blast badge in order to transform. This is a kind of tattoo beasts have on their arm, and different blast badges will result in different forms with different abilities. A beast of at least LV10 can purchase or change a blast badge for 10,000 Meseta at the Salon in Clad 6's Style Shop. As the beast rises in level, additional blast badges will become available.

Nanoblast properties:

  • Damage of nanoblast is based on character's base ATK, and counts as Melee type damage.
  • During the nanoblast transformation, player is fully invincible.
  • can be used to build chains, and can be used to break chains.
  • Weapons and modules are all un-equipped.
    • Their stat bonuses and any abilities do not apply, visual modules' visual effects do not apply, and the attacks are treated as neutral.
  • Items, lock-on (via holding L) and FPS mode cannot be used.
  • The player is able to Evade using or Block using R. Blocking doesn't do anything meaningful as the player takes no damage from any attacks.
  • While in Nanoblast, the blast gauge will reduce as time passes to indicate how much time is left in the nanoblast.
  • Male and Female characters have different attack animations in Boggo Val, Zeed Val, Adaka Val, and Vande Val.

Berserk

Zavn Val and Gavri Val has a chance of transforming into Berserk mode after the initial nanoblast is over.

The chances are:

  • Zavn Val: (The number of hits dealt during Nanoblast / 4)%
  • Gavri Val: (The number of hits dealt during Nanoblast / 8)%

Berserk Mode will damage allies with its attacks.

Infinity Blast

The ability of the Deuman race, harnessing the photons stored in their bodies. The type of infinity blast used is dependent on the deuman's type, and is automatically usable starting from Lv10, requiring no additional setup.

Infinity Blasts gain additional abilities based on the user's type level:

Lv10+ Lv20+ LV30+ Lv40+
Restore HP equal to 10% of damage dealt Blast Gauge charges 33% faster May inflict Sleep per hit (15% chance) Blast Duration increases from 25s to 30s

In addition, the deuman's stats are boosted by Type Level x 0.5% (up to 25%).

Infinity Blast properties:

  • Infinity Blasts initally last 25 seconds long.
  • Persisting attacks, such as Foverse, Sazonde, Sabarta, and Samegid does not function during the blast.

    • is 4 Lock, and can trigger Perfect Attacks.

    • It's possible to Guard or Evade.
      • Evade is improved compared to normal, with longer invincible time and longer travel distance.
      • While attacks do not cost PP, Guard and Evade still costs PP to use.
  • Weapons, Shield-weaves, and Modules are all un-equipped.
    • Their stat bonuses and any abilities do not apply, visual modules' visual effects do not apply, and attacks are treated as Neutral.
  • Items cannot be used, Lock-on (via L button), and FPS mode cannot be used.

  • Unlike Nanoblasts, the blast gauge on the bottom left remains full for the entirety of the blast.
